(a) Establishment of Dera Natung Govt. College as one of the Premier Institution in the State, as the first Principal.
(b) Establishment of IGNOU Study Centre, Itanagar as one of the pioneer coordinator in making it not only one the best, but the second largest study Centre in the Northeastern region.
(c) Played a key role in the transformation of Rajiv Gandhi University ( then Arunachal University) into a full-fledged University, making it one of the best among the newer Universities of the country at the time. Invited the inspection team of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and UGC and brought the University under the financial grid of UGC under Section 12(B) and a member of AIU and Commonwealth University. Despite not having a regular Vice-Chancellor
& inadequate funding by State Govt. played a pivotal rule in bringing up the University to the present status.
(d) During the span of little less than 2 years as the Director of NERIST, not only restored normalcy to the administrative stalemate that had plunged NERIST into a chaotic situation but also taking the institution to greater heights by proficient display of administering skills:
-Comprehensive revision of syllabi from Diploma level to Post-Graduate level.
-Introduction of new academic programs namely M.Sc in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, M.Tech & Ph.D programs in all departments & creation of separate Centre for Management studies.
-Overhauling the pattern of NERIST Entrance Examination which was done earlier manually was fully computerized.
-Increased the intake capacity from 1195 to 1359.
-Successfully defended the Deemed University status from UGC Review Committee visit and also MHRD Review Committee.
-Eviction of encroachment of institute land.
-Conduction of 1st ever convocation with Shrimati Pratibha Devi Singh Patil, Her Excellency, President of India & 2nd Convocation with Dr. A.P. J. Abdul Kalam, former President of India as successive Chief Guests.
Introduced computed & transparent State Joint Entrance Examination in Department of Higher and Technical education; a pioneer method in answer script evaluation through OMR machine. Examination result would be declared within 24 hours.
Establishment of Arunachal Pradesh State Council of Technical Education through and Act of the State Legislative Assembly to prepare course curriculum, conduct examinations & award Diploma to the students of polytechnics of the state under the Directorate of Higher & Technical Education.
(g) Instrumental in the establishment of State Level Quality Assurance Cell to effect quality control & monitor the academic standard of colleges with the financial aid from NAAC, Bangalore.
Expansion of Higher Education in the State. Responsible for establishment of 5 new Govt. Degree Colleges & 8 Technical & Professional Colleges under Private Sector and also 9 new Polytechnics & 8 new Model Degree Colleges under Govt. of India scheme which are being established in the State.
Played a crucial role in the successful establishment of National Institute of Technology (NIT) at Yupia in the year 2010.
